Now, as Indians, we are more interested in the kind of food that was served at the lavish event hosted by Anna Wintour. By now, you probably know that the tickets for the Gala cost a whopping Rs 41 lakh and qualify as a high-profile event that was attended by the who’s who of the film and music fraternity.

And when the price is this much, one expects a sumptuous spread of food. So don’t think of yourself as a judgemental fufaji at a wedding, because a large chunk of the internet was interested in the food.

Several pictures from the Met Gala went viral and among them, a photo of the menu card shared by Malum was the most circulated. The menu listed items like chilled spring pea soup with baby vegetables, lemon creme fraiche, and truffle snow. For mains, guests were served Ora King salmon. According to reports, the menu was based on the late designer’s favourites. The food was accompanied with plenty of wine and diet Coke as well.

However, netizens were not impressed with the menu at all. People couldn’t believe that celebs were served such plain food after paying such a huge sum for the tickets.

Here’s how they reacted:

Videos and pictures of Teyana Taylor bringing her own food to the Met Gala went crazy viral.

Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away in 2019, was a German fashion designer and the creative director of the French fashion house Chanel. He was also associated with luxury brands like Balmain, Patou, Chloé and Fendi.
