Bride's 'restrictive' wedding menu sparks debate: 'Your wedding day is supposed to be enjoyable' - 9Honey
A bride who shared a video showcasing her healthy wedding menu has been criticised over her strict food choices.
Sam Cutler, who runs The Fit Fatale community, shared a video on her social media called 'What I Ate On My Wedding Day.'
The video shows not only what she ate on her special day, but what her guests were served.
During drinks the bride ate oysters and plantain avocado bites, and dinner began with a chopped salad with gluten-free bread.

A palate-cleansing course of ice and lemon came next ahead of a main of salmon and vegetables.
So far it all sounds incredibly healthy and delicious and not too controversial, but then Cutler shows herself taking an Arrae anti-bloating pill in preparation for her gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free chocolate cake, washed down with low-sugar bubbly.
Also on the menu were Unreal chocolates, which are low-sugar and allergen-free, alongside Smartsweets low-sugar lollies.

A low-salt taco bar came after for guests who were in need of supper after hitting the dance floor.
Her video quickly went viral with 4.3 million views and thousands of comments, not all of them complimentary.
"Your wedding day is supposed to be enjoyable," one TikToker wrote with a crying emoji.
"Bro ONE DAY IS OKAY," another commented.
"It's really the veggie platter for me," another said.
Others described her wedding menu as "sad" and "insane."

One TikToker wrote: "Can u imagine going to a wedding and on the tables are anti-bloating gummies?! Byyyyeeeeeeeeee."
Another called it an "almond wedding" borrowing from the phrase "almond mum", which is used to describe parents who promote restrictive eating habits.
"Almond mum lifestyle hard," one commented.
"Is this real," another questioned.
Others praised the bride's choices, particularly after taking her past health struggles into account.
"People hating but they have no freaking idea how hard it is to find any kind of food that is gf and df sometimes a veggie platter is the way to go!" one supporter commented.
Another said: "As someone is has to be GF, and DF, this made me so happy to see you confidently make this work, I know it took so much planning ahead."
"So happy to see this, have a wonderful life with your husband," said another.
"I think it was beautiful! Congrats on the wedding!" another said.
Cutler began her fitness and wellness journey about four years ago after suffering "a severe concussion and brain trauma from a fitness accident," she explains on her site.
She began sharing her health tips online and ahead of her wedding described herself as a "health-focused bride."
In an earlier video Cutler shared a video about how she transformed her health.
In the description she said she was celebrating five years of leaving a job that didn't serve her and a lifestyle that was "killing" her.
She had "chewed down nails" and "severe" adult acne and felt "alone and uncomfortable" in her skin.
